Frederikshavn Havneservice I/S was started in autumn 2007, as a service to ships calling at the port of

Frederikshavn.

Competition in the field of port-related services, is in most ports a brand new concept,  when it comes

to cable transmission, tug and pilotage work. This calls for caution from both shipping companies and

operators, as it may be even more expensive for shipping companies, if the same company, for example

providing all services in a comprehensive package where the company can not see what the individual

services cost.

Line handling was from the beginning our primary service offer to ships and ship owners.

We have succeeded to get some ship owners as regular clients, and thus the ships, port and agents don’t

have to worry what service company to use for line handling. We are the company w ith the lowest prices on

line handling in the port of Frederikshavn.

Our prices are 20 - 40 % les than our competitors.

Compass Direction is the newest service offering from our side. Since Ørskov Yard has many ships arriving in

Frederikshavn for repairs af various kinds, it is quite natural that the ships in that context, can get their magnetic

compass corrected. This is in many ships a neglected area, but we can rectify the situation, while going for a test

drive or departure from the yard.

Rental of manpower is also an offer for the ships calling the port of Frederikshavn.

There are many different works in the port, where the clients could need some help for shorter periods for

ship related works. Here we can help with our offer with labour for work paid by the hour.
